After 10 years of silence Take That knew they needed to return with something extra special. As a band they had always been known for energetic live shows, and for this tour they were determined to make it a true Las Vegas Production.
Take That's choreographer Kim Gavin wanted a Burlesque Circus troupe with a grown-up edge. He approached Cirque Bijou and asked us to provide a combination of world class circus performers and real life Circus Freaks. After consulting a number of circus companies, Take That agreed that Cirque Bijou should provide all the circus performers for this sexy, stylish and modern show.
Our team was also responsible for all the health and safety documentation - which gets quite complicated when you're suspending Gary Barlow from a hoop or Fire breathing next to Jason Orange!
The show was an unmitigated success and sold out in record breaking time. It was a demanding schedule for the performers but they had a great time and played to audiences of up to 60,000. Take That's choreographer was impressed with the results and he called us back for Take That's Circus tour as well as the live recording of An Audience with...Take That.
