Narrative: Disappearance of Batman and rumours of the illusive 'Scarecrow'

The brief:

Create an immersive world set in Gotham City. Have the narrative woven throughout the evening, with different characters from Batman telling a story and interacting with party guests, building up to a big finale showdown between Batman, Catwoman and The Scarecrow.

Challenges:

This private party was taking place in the client’s own apartment. We needed to be mindful of the space, and work out what action could happen where. With no stage or performance area as such, we had to be clever with our placement of the action – keeping it within the ‘world’, but also ensuring that the audience could get a good view!
