We’re celebrating 25 years of Cirque Bijou – this month focusing on the yearly Bristol Harbour Festival.
There’s one weekend in July which the Cirque Bijou team have permanently blocked off in our calendar: Bristol Harbour Fest weekend. This festival holds a special place in the hearts of the team, and it’s one of our longest standing events.

We’ve been programming the Circus and Street Theatre area since 2004, and managing the Children’s Area since 2014. That’s a lot of years to be bringing to the fore emerging, local artists alongside world class performers.
There have been a lot of iterations of Bristol Harbour Festival over the years. We’ve taken up camp in Castle Park, Queen’s Square and College Green; we’ve produced programmes of aerial, comedy, and lots of family-friendly entertainment.
This year we’ll be back on College Green, with another great programme of local and world-class artists. Visit their website for more info, and we look forward to seeing you there!
