Goodwood Festival of Speed VIP Drivers’ Ball

The brief:

High octane, stunt-filled rock n roll-style show each year for VIP guests at Festival of Speed, Goodwood Estate.

Challenges:

Working outdoors, creating high production shows in a short space of time, whatever the weather, with a variety of different disciplines – from acrobats to cranes, trampolines to high wires to motorbikes – often dangerous stunts that need to be carefully managed. Incorporating technologies into the performance – for instance video mapping, and fire/pyro effects, which take time to get right.

Over the years we have nurtured a productive and long term relationship with the client, who asks us to return to create new shows for them year after year. We get to try out new crazy ideas and generate some great photos, new props and special effects!
