Following a successful outdoor summer tour of Extraordinary Bodies’ What Am I Worth? in 2018, the show is going back in to the rehearsal room this March in preparation for a tour of indoor and outdoor venues in 2020.
The impressive circular rotating set (nicknamed ‘the rose’), which was the centrepiece of last year’s show, will be reconstructed for a week of research and development in Bristol. The aim of the week is to do some more creative exploration on ‘the rose’ with the cast and uncover new and exciting performance possibilities, as well as plan and develop the show for theatres.
During the week we’ll also be joined by filmmakers Steven Lake and Kate Stonehill who will be creating a brand-new trailer for the show.
Extraordinary Bodies is our unique partnership with Diverse City, creating circus that truly represents the diverse makeup of society: onstage, backstage and in the audience.
What Am I Worth? is now booking for indoor and outdoor dates for 2020. For more information please contact Producer Claire Teasdale claireteasdale@extraordinarybodies.org.uk
